Ensuring the best usage and durability of your product, Proficient in escalating the technical issues that restricts the free flow usage. Below are the precautions to be taken care off, while using the Colston’s commodity.

  • Always test your cleaning solution on an affected area before applying to the entire surface.
  • Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately after applying cleaner.
  • Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces. Do not allow cleaners to soak.
  • Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.

Faucets & Fittings Chrome & Vibrant PVD Colours / Finishes
Do not use cleaners containing ammonia, bleach or acid. The Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish should be cleaned only with Windex Original. Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use.

Whirlpools & Baths
Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use. In the rare occurrence of stubborn stains, use abrasive cleaners sparingly, but not on Safeguard slip-resistant surface. Use a soft nylon brush on the Safeguard surface, on the bottom of the bath. Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads.

Acrylic
Wipe out bath/whirlpool after each use with soft cloth or squeegee. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Avoid using aerosol products on the bath surface.

Ceramic Material

  • Soft abrasive cleaners may be used when necessary to clean COLSTON ceramic products.
  • Strong abrasive cleaners will scratch and dull the surface.
  • Use toilet bowl cleaners on the inside of the bowl only.
  • Do not use in-tank toilet cleaners as they can damage the flush valve or other working parts.
  • Wipe any splashes of cleaner solutions from plastic or plated surfaces immediately.

Care Tip
Over time, hard water deposits may clog toilet rim holes and trapways. To clean, purchase a commercial cleaner that’s recommended for the removal of hard water deposits. Follow all instructions on the package.

Success with cleaners and procedures is dependent upon such factors as the hardness and temperature of the water, using exact measurements of ingredients, changes in cleaning formulas and the condition of the product being cleaned. Since there are variations within these factors, COLSTON cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the formulas mentioned.
